1. ROLL CALL. Mr. Smith called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M., with roll call as follows: Mr. Sabatino, Mrs. Hammond, and Mr. Smith were present. Mr. Fix was absent due to a prior commitment. Others present were Judy Gilleland, Ted Hackworth, Brian Wisniewski, Lynda Yartin, Linda Fersch, Ed Drobina, Chris Schornack, and others.
2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF October 25, 2007, Regular Meeting. Mr. Sabatino moved to approve; Mrs. Hammond seconded the motion. Roll call was taken with Mrs. Hammond, Mr. Sabatino, and Mr. Smith voting “Yea.” Motion passed, 3-0.
3. FINANCE DEPARTMENT:
A. Review and request for motion to approve draft ordinance amending the 2006 appropriation, Ordinance 2006-164. Mrs. Fersch stated the Committee had received two draft appropriation ordinances. Mrs. Fersch stated the first appropriation ordinance was for the advance repayment to the General Fund on the Diley Road project. She stated the second ordinance was end of the year adjustments. Mrs. Fersch stated she would like to add an increase for the General Fund, Income Tax Refunds, in the amount of $5,000. Mr. Smith moved to approve and forward both appropriations to Council with the addition of the Income Tax Refund; Mr. Sabatino seconded the motion. Roll call was taken with Mr. Sabatino, Mr. Smith, and Mrs. Hammond voting “Yea.” Motion passed, 3-0. Mrs. Fersch stated she would request three readings on both of these appropriations at Council.
Mr. Smith stated he would recess the Finance Committee meeting and reconvene after the conclusion of the Budget Work Session.
Finance Committee recessed at 7:38 P.M., and reconvened in open session at 9:01 P.M.
4. OTHER BUSINESS: No other business was brought forward.
5. ADJOURNMENT. There being nothing further, Mrs. Hammond moved to adjourn; Mr. Sabatino seconded the motion. Roll call was taken with Mrs. Hammond, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Sabatino voting "Aye." Motion carried, 3-0. The Finance Committee adjourned at 9:04 P.M., November 15, 2007.
