REGULAR MEETING

7:30 P.M.

1. ROLL CALL. Ms. Shankland called the meeting to order at 7:33 p.m. with roll call as follows: Ms. Ball, Mr. Boetcher, Ms. Shankland, Mr. Frazier, Mr. Campbell and Ms. Riggs were present. Steve Carr was also present.

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of April 28, 2003, Regular Meeting. Mr. Campbell moved to approve; Mr. Boetcher seconded the motion: Ms. Ball, Mr. Boetcher, Ms. Shankland, Mr. Frazier, Mr. Campbell and Ms. Riggs voted “Aye”. Motion carried 6-0.

3. COMMUNITY COMMENTS. - None

5. NEW BUSINESS. – None.

A. Skate Park Update – see Director’s Report.

B. Parks Master Plan Update – see Director’s Report

7. COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE’S REPORT – Ms. Riggs welcomed the Board’s newest members, Ms. Ball and Mr. Frazier, and informed the Board that a public hearing on the proposed Hickory Lakes property purchase was scheduled for Tuesday, July 1 at 7:00 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT – There being nothing further, Mr. Campbell moved to adjourn; Mr. Boetcher seconded the motion. The Meeting of the Parks & Recreation Board adjourned at 7:56 p.m., June 23, 2003
