A.        Review and request for motion to approve draft ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the storm sewer and water main construction project in the Olde Pickerington Village.  Ms VanCleave stated the Committee had received her report with her recommendations on this project, as well as a draft ordinance and the complete results of the bid opening on April 30th.  Ms VanCleave stated this is the project for which we received the OPWC grant/loan.  She stated in the spirit of the stimulus they would like us to move this forward to construction as quickly as we can.  She stated the lowest bidder was Beheler Excavating, Inc., and they have done several projects in the City in the past including the Meadows Culvert replacement.  Ms VanCleave stated as part of the bid an alternate was given for instead of doing a trench patch across the road to do a full milling and paving to give us a better finished look.  Mrs. Hammond moved to approve and forward the ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Beheler Excavating, Inc., for the Olde Pickerington Village outfall and S. East Street and Fanchers Street water main replacement; Mr. Wisniewski seconded the motion.  Roll call was taken with Mr. Sauer, Mr. Wisniewski, and Mrs. Hammond voting “Yea.”  Motion passed, 3-0.
