1. ROLL CALL. Mr. Smith called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M., with roll call as follows: Mrs. Hammond and Mr. Smith were present. Mr. Wisniewski was absent. Others present were Lynda Yartin.
2. SCHEDULED MATTERS:
A. Motion for Executive Session under Section 121.22(G)(1), Matters involving an employee or public official’s appointment. Mr. Smith moved for an Executive Session under Section 121.22(G)(1); Mrs. Hammond seconded the motion. Roll call was taken with Mr. Smith and Mrs. Hammond voting “Yea.” Motion passed, 2-0.
Rules Committee adjourned into Executive Session at 6:32 P.M., and reconvened in open session at 7:43 P.M.
B. Review and request for motion to appoint an individual to the Parks and Recreation Board. Mr. Smith moved to appoint Carol Carter to the vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Board; Mrs. Hammond seconded the motion. Roll call was taken with Mrs. Hammond and Mr. Smith voting “Yea.” Motion passed, 2-0.
3. ADJOURNMENT. There being nothing further, Mr. Smith moved to adjourn; Mrs. Hammond seconded the motion. Mr. Smith and Mrs. Hammond voted "Aye." Motion carried, 2-0. The Rules Committee adjourned at 7:45 P.M, June 22, 2009.
