4.         Presentation to Council:

            A.        Mr. Henderson stated the owners are proposing to develop 2.3 acres of the 8.8 acre site into a dog park.  He stated the reason the rezoning is required is because this was a planned district that had certain allowable uses and they amended it to allow a dog park usage on the site.  Mr. Henderson stated Planning and Zoning Commission approved a final development plan on December 8, 2009, and Service Committee approved the same plan on December 16, 2009.  Mr. Wisniewski inquired if the notifications had been sent to the residents in that area and Mr. Henderson stated he believed they had.  Mayor O’Brien inquired if we had spoken to them personally, and Mr. Henderson stated he has not heard from anyone out there on the dog park.
