3.         Purpose of the Public Hearing:  Mayor O’Brien stated the purpose of this Public Hearing is to allow citizens a chance to voice any concerns and/or questions regarding the proposed Final Plat for the Pickerington Pointe Residential Subdivision located behind the Police Department on Fuller’s Way.

4.         Presentation to Council:   Ms Crotty stated Pride One Construction had applied to complete the Pickerington Pointe residential development.  She stated they are proposing senior targeted apartments and the end result will actually be approximately 34 fewer units than what was originally planned.  Ms Crotty stated the plan itself, the building locations and street locations will basically remain in the same.  She stated the reason it needed to be replatted is because they needed to create three separate parcels in order to achieve financing for the project.  Ms Crotty stated the developer is requesting this be approved as a Final Plat and City Planning, Projects & Services Committee did move it forward to Council as a final plat as there were no changes from the preliminary plat.  Ms Crotty stated variances for set backs from the new parcel line were also necessary and those were approved by the Board of Zoning Appeals on February 28th.  Ms Crotty stated she was requesting Council consider this Final Plat this evening and she would request three readings if possible as time is of the essence on the project.  Ms Crotty stated the Planning and Zoning Commission had approved the preliminary plat with five conditions and those are also attached to the Final Plat and must be met before the plat can be signed.  Ms Crotty stated Mr. Goodwin of EMH&T is the engineer for the project and he is present to answer any questions.
