The Fairfield County Engineer's Office will be resurfacing (mill & fill) West Columbus Street from Diley Road to Hill Road beginning in July. The work is expected to take approximately three weeks. Traffic will be maintained, however, motorists should expect delays during the work. The project is part of the federal stimulus program. The $100,000 project is being done at no cost to the City. The City appreciates the Fairfield County Engineer's assistance in helping to maintain the City's infrastructure.
There will also be a night project taking place on S.R. 204 that will last approximately 3 weeks.
Fairfield County has updated their phone system.
The old numbers will continue to work for the foreseeable future in addition to the new numbers.
