ENGINEERING

The Engineering Department is responsible for the overall planning, design, implementation, and inspection of the City's public infrastructure projects. These projects include streets, public utilities, traffic signal installations and maintenance.

The Department also reviews, approves, and inspects all work completed within the public right-of-way by private developers and private utilities. The Engineering Department provides technical support to City Departments, City Council, Boards and Commissions, developers and citizens with respect to engineering studies, development of construction plans, bidding of projects, surveying, land planning, transportation, stormwater management, water and  wastewater utilities, environmental matters, and construction management.
