ENGINEERING |
The Engineering Department us responsible for the overall planning, design, implementation, and inspection of the City's public infrastructure projects such as street projects, public utilities, and traffic signal installations and maintenance. The Department also reviews, approves, and inspects all work completed within the public right-of-way by private developers and private utilities. The Engineering Department also provides technical support to other City Departments, City Council, Boards and Commissions, developers and citizens with respect to engineering studies, development of construction plans, bidding of projects, surveying, land planning, transportation, stormwater management, water and wastewater utilities, environmental matters, and construction management.
