The City of Pickerington Service and Utilities Departments are headed up by Edward J. Drobina, Service Manager. The office is located at 200 Hereford Drive and may be reached at 614-833-2292, Fax #614-833-2298. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Service Department, located at the above address, employs a Service Foreman, and a crew of eight technicians. This department is responsible for street and road maintenance, including, but not limited to, pothole repair, berming, striping, snow removal, street sweeping, mowing and clean-up of roadways, traffic control signs and devices, dead animal removal, and storm water management. Additionally, personnel provide mosquito fogging, leaf pick-up, water and sewer main construction and repair, hydrant flushing, utility location, installation and service of water meters, quarterly reading of water meters, and numerous other services. The Service Department also maintains all City trees including those found in parks and right-of-ways.

The Water Department maintains the City water distribution system, in accordance with Ohio EPA requirements and regulations, including the water plant and its operations, well fields, and water towers. The department employs four full-time, certified operators. The water plant facility is located at 8995 Diley Road.

The Wastewater Department employs three full-time certified operators, responsible for the reclamation of sewer water in accordance with Ohio EPA standards and regulations. The crew maintains the sewer plant and its facilities, as well as numerous lift-stations throughout the system. The Water Reclamation Facility is located at 525 Hill Road, South. Tours are available at all locations and arrangements may be made by calling the Service Director’s office at 614-833-2292, during normal office hours. For questions regarding Hazardous Waste, you can contact the Coshocton-Fairfield-Licking-Perry Counties Solid Waste District at (740) 349-6308 or email them at cflp@windstream.net.  Hazardous Collection dates for this year are on August 21 at the OSU Newark Campus from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and on September 11 at the Coshocton County Career Center from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY SERVICE CALLS: If you experience a water or sewer emergency on weekends, holidays, or after normal office hours, please contact the Pickerington Police Department at 614-575-6911. Crews are on call and always available through the Police Department.
