The City of Pickerington 2020 Pavement Maintenance project will begin this week. The work will begin with curb and gutter removal and replacement in the Pickerington Hills Subdivision starting this Wednesday, July 29. Markers to direct residents where not to park will be posted. Pavement repairs on Long Road will begin Thursday, July 30. Please drive with caution when in the vicinity of the construction workers.
In order to provide a safer condition for the traveling public, changes are coming to the intersection of Windmiller Drive and Diley Road.
The City of Pickerington will permanently prohibit left turns from Windmiller Drive onto northbound Diley Road, effective August 6, 2020. Northbound travelers on Diley Road will still be able to make a left turn onto Windmiller Drive from Diley Road. The construction work will occur at night.

All playgrounds, basketball courts and the skate park are now open. The following events have been cancelled: Friday Night Flicks, Summer Concert Series, Youth Fishing Derby and Youth Adventure Challenge. The Pickerington Safety City program has also been cancelled.
The Pickerington Community Pool is now open daily. Day passes are available for purchase online each day beginning at 7:00am.
The Engineering Department is responsible for the overall planning, design, implementation, and inspection of the City's public infrastructure projects. These projects include streets, public utilities, traffic signal installations and maintenance.
The Department also reviews, approves, and inspects all work completed within the public right-of-way by private developers and private utilities. The Engineering Department provides technical support to City Departments, City Council, Boards and Commissions, developers and citizens with respect to engineering studies, development of construction plans, bidding of projects, surveying, land planning, transportation, storm water management, water and wastewater utilities, environmental matters, and construction management.
